We have spent thousands of hours testing our filament with several printer types and recommend these printing settings.

  • Default Print Speed:Ā 30-60 mm/s (Recommended:Ā 40 mm/s)
  • First Layer Height:Ā 0.24 mm
  • First Layer Speed:Ā 15 mm/s
  • Extrusion Width:Ā 0.48 for 0.4 Nozzle (1.2X Nozzle Diameter)
  • Retraction: Bowden 5mm @ 45 mm/s or Direct 2mm @ 45 mm/s
  • Perimeter Print Speed:Ā 70% of Default Print Speed
  • Infill and Support Print Speed: 80% of Default Print Speed
  • Fan Profile: 0% (Fan Not Recommended)
  • XY Jerk:Ā 8
  • Z Jerk:Ā 0.3
  • E Jerk:Ā 5
  • Acceleration (Print/Travel):Ā 300/500

*Special Notes:

PC absorbs water from the air quickly. We recommend drying filament before first use and storing airtight with desiccant to maintain dryness. Please see our article on how to dry filament. Symptoms of wet filament include hotend popping andĀ finished parts that are brittle due to poor layer adhesion.

Our PC will print at a wide range of temperatures but layer adhesion is much better at the top end of the suggested range.
